Idea of the Podcast

The Idea of this podcast is to present some of my favourite pieces of Urdu poetry with a brief commentry in English.
I will include translations where available but basically I will try to convey the gist if my understanding of the piece
I will also include some performances of my favourite poetry
My hope is that this venture should be of interest to lovers of Urdu poetry and also to people who are not very well versant in Urdu but are interested in Urdu poetry
